This is a 1-year charitable giving program that provides funds for the Bible & Literature Missionary Foundation (BLMF) to purchase rolls of paper that are specially designed for use in Bibles. Once the paper rolls arrive at BLMF, the team does the work of printing, collating, and binding to turn the rolls of paper into finished Bibles for free distribution around the world!
Because we want every church to have the opportunity to be involved in Bible printing, we've taken the chart we created for Faith Baptist Church and made it available as a free download!
This 40" x 48" poster provides ample space for people to write in their names, and can be printed on large-format printers or sent to the printing service of your choice.
We've listed the weeks but left blank spaces for you to add the corresponding dates, allowing you to customize the chart to your ministry's preferred time frame.
Start by watching the 12-minute video above, taking notes on the process and planning out the best way to implement the Paper Roll Project in your church. Then schedule your presentation for a date and time when the majority of your congregation can attend.
If you have a large congregation or a strong giving culture, you may want to work on filling more than one chart at a time, or encourage members to not reserve multiple spaces until every individual has had an opportunity to be involved.
Our chart allows individuals to reserve a space by filling in their name. Each space represents a $25 pledge for the week listed at the top of the column, allowing people to plan in advance how they will earn or save up their pledged amount. Momentum builds as church members see the chart fill up, so keep it posted in a highly-visible area until every space has been reserved!
We recommend sending funds to BLMF on a regular basis, rather than holding them until every commitment has been fulfilled.
Set aside the pledged funds that come in each week until you reach your predetermined schedule — every 2 weeks, for example, or perhaps each time you reach $1,000 — then send the funds on to BLMF so they can put them to work in the ministry right away!
